097 Al-Qadr. This is a Makki Surah and is named after the Night of Decree, in which the Qur’an was revealed. Jibreel (AS) brought the Qur’an from the Lauhe Mahfooz, the Sealed Tablet, which is under the Throne of Allaah (SWT) above the seven heavens.
